Man Detained in Crimea for Allegedly Serving in Crimean Tatar Battalion

The occupiers detained one more man suspected of allegedly serving in the “Crimean Tatar Noman Chelebidzhykhan Volunteer Battalion”. This is reported by “Russian FSB Department in Crimea” press service.

According to their data, the detained is a Crimean born in 1988 who serves in the Noman Chelebidzhykhan Battalion. He has been taken into custody.

The man as stated by the occupiers, joined “the Crimean Tatar Battalion in 2015 and acted aggressively against the interests of Russia. Carrying a firearm, he was to check people and vehicles at the checkpoints”.

To remind: a local resident suspected by the occupiers of allegedly serving in the Crimean Tatar Noman Chelebidzhykhan Volunteer Battalion was detained in Henichesk, in the occupied part of the Kherson Region.

It has become more and more common practice of the Russian occupation authorities in Crimea to keep confidential names of the persons detained or sentenced on the charges of serving in the battalion.
