A video of abducting citizen journalist Iryna Danylovych was found in the records of one of the gas stations at Koktebel town boundary. This was reported to the CHRG by her father Bronislav Danylovych.
According to him, the video shows a woman in clothes similar to the those Iryna Danylovych was wearing that day, standing at a bus stop, and then a black car approaching. Several people in plainclothes jumped out from the car and, despite her resistance, pushed the woman into the car.
Due to finding this video, the journalist’s father filed a new statement with the police demanding to initiate a criminal case on the fact of his daughter’s abduction. He also demanded that the police remove the video from the cameras and attach it to the case file.
To remind: Ms. Iryna Danylovych disappeared on April 29th, and since there has been no information about her whereabouts, and a legal status.
The same day her home in the village of Vladyslavivka near Feodosia was searched while she was detained at work. According to the mother, the phone and laptop were seized during the search. The security agents did not leave a copy of the court decision. According to the journalist’s mother, ties with a foreign country and a 10-day arrest were mentioned in the document.
In the meantime, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea opened a criminal investigation on the fact of illegal searches and detention of Ms.Danylovych (Criminal Code of Ukraine, Articles 146-2 and 162-2).
