The message of human rights and civil society organizations to the President of Ukraine on the illegal detention and arrest of Ukrainian activist Vladimir Balukh in Crimea were sent to the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. State Security Service of Ukraine and the Foreign Ministry must provide answers on what has been done by state bodies of Ukraine to free the Ukrainian.
According to the head of the President Administration Igor Rainin, President Petro Poroshenko is doing everything possible, including the use of foreign partners and the existing negotiation formats to make all Ukrainian political prisoners illegally held by Russia were released as soon as possible, and the legitimate rights of Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied areas were properly protected.
