Liliya Mantserova, a resident of Feodosiya, was arrested for Ukrainian song clips.
Mantserova published videos for “Bakhmut the Fortress” and “Without Restriction – For Heroes (UA) songs on the social network. A criminal case under RF CoAO Article 20.3.3. (“discreditation of RF Army) was initiated against her.
The local publics disseminated a video of detaining the resident of Feodosiya: one can see four “security men” armed with assault rifles bursting into the shop where Mantserova worked.
Later a video with woman’s “excuses” was published, and two reports under RF CoAO Article 20.3.3 – on Mantserova and her husband – were sent to the “court”.
According to CrimeaVox Telegram Channel, the decision of “Feodosiya Court” stated that “judge” Yelena Timokhina considered an image of “Trident” noticed by an anonymous expert in the clips, a symbol of OUN Rebellion Army, and sentenced the woman to 2 days in custody under RF CoAO Article 20.3.
The CHRG has reported that Crimeans are sentenced to penal colonies due to posts on the social networks.
To remind: a new article – “discreditation of RF Armed Forces” (RF CC Article 280.3) was introduced in Russia after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This article may cause both administrative and criminal punishment.
On March 14, 2023, the State Duma approved amendments which increased the maximum punishment under this article, now it is a 7-years’ sentence.
