Mr.Sergey Tsygipa, a public activist, a journalist and a writer, head of the ‘KAKHOVSKY PLATSDARM’ (Kakhovka Bridgehead) NGO, from the city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Region, is being kept in the Pre-Trial Detention Center No 1 in Simferopol.

‘Sergey Tsygipa is reported to be alive and healthy, to the extent possible in the Pre-Trial Detention Center conditions’.
As reported by the CHRG, it has become recently known that activist Irina Gorobtsova abducted in May is also kept in the Pre-Trial Detention Center no 1 of Simferopol.
Mr. Sergey Tsygipa is known to be a public activist from the city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Region, head of the ‘KAKHOVSKY PLATSDARM’ (Kakhovka Bridgehead) NGO, a citizen journalist. On March 12, he was on his way to Tavriysk to deliver medicines for his mother-in-law, and since then the communication with him was lost.
Journalist Oleg Baturin abducted on March 13 told after his release that when being in custody in the building of the Kherson Regional State Administration, he heard the name of Sergey Tsygipa and a sound of his voice in one of the interrogation rooms located nearby.
