A citizen of Genichesk Dmytro Zakharov kidnapped in June is held is a new pre-trial detention facility in Simferopol

A citizen of Genichesk Dmytro Zakharov kidnapped in June is now held in PTDF No. 2 of Simferopol.

This is reported by the CHRG with a reference to its sources in occupied Crimea.

“The inquiry into countering the SMO” is being carried out in respect of Zakharov.

According to the CHRG, in the beginning of December the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation alleged that Zakharov was not included in a list of persons apprehended for “countering the special operation”.

We remind that in the evening on the 16^th of June 2022 Dmytro Zakharov was apprehended by the Russian military in Genichesk by the Grocery Store at 124 Hohol Street.

On the 24^th of July, Russian mass media published that the Federal Security Service of Russia apprehended a man in Kherson, which had allegedly been sending messages to the Russian military on the order of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

“Dmytro Zakharov confessed that he, on the order of the SSU, had been spamming Russian service persons with a call to surrender”, – reported the occupant sources. They posted a video, in which Zakharov told that he had been fishing and selling seafood.

“A part of the catch was illegal and it was covered up by the SSU officer. After the beginning of the SMO I told my supervisor Ruslan that I had software, which helped me send ads to my clients and offered him to send messages. He sent me a text of the message, which read: “Russian soldier, surrender, think about your family, we will help you return alive. After that, he sent me around 500 numbers of the Russian soldiers and I sent those messages”, –Zakharov says on the video. He is obviously trying to recollect the text he is voicing.

In the end of September, Zakharov’s lawyer received a reply to the lawyer’s motion from the Federal Service of the Forces of the National Guard of the Ministry of Defence of the RF. It stated that “according to data available on the 27^th of September, there is no D.S. Zakharov in the list of persons apprehended for countering the SMO”.

The response to a request from Zakharov’s wife to Crimean Federal Security Service (FSS) stated that the actions of Dmytro Zakharov were checked “for damage to security of the RF in the course of the SMO. The person is in conditions that exclude any threat to life or health”.
