The resident of Yalta is accused of “extremism” for his posts on the social networks

In the occupied Crimea, a 45-year old man, the resident of Yalta, is accused of “public calls to extremism activity” for his posts on the social networks. He might be imprisoned up to 5 years. The occupying “prosecution office” of Crimea reported on 3 July.

According to the occupiers, the man concerned urged to “commit violence as to the group of persons on the ground of the nationality”. His name is classified.

The indictment is passed to the occupying “Yalta city court”. He might be imprisoned up to 5 years. For reminder, on 30 June it was known that in Crimea two residents of Yalta were apprehended, the proceedings allegedly for “state treason” were initiated against them. The men concerned were placed in detention. According to the occupying “investigation”, the suspects, born in 1977 and 1993, passed to the Security Service of Ukraine the photos and the videos of the objects of the critical infrastructure and the military equipment in Crimea, “noting their location data and the categories of the personnel on these objects”.
