The occupying “Supreme court of Crimea” sentenced a 35 years old woman, resident of Yalta, to 17 years of imprisonment in colony of general regime under the Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the RF (“state treason”).
This is per the website of the “court”. Serhii POHREBNYAK is the “judge” who ruled so.
According to the occupying media and the collaborative blogger Oleksandr TALIPOV it is the case of the lawyer, Liudmyla KOLESNIKOVA, apprehended by the FSB of Crimea when the woman came to the funeral of her mother.
As the Crimean Human Rights Group informed, starting from 2011, the lawyer, Liudmyla KOLESNIKOVA worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea. After the occupation she kept working as the investigating officer up until 2018, then up to 2019 she worked as the inquirer in the occupying local authorities. She resigned in 2019. Since 2022 Liudmyla lived in Ireland. In June 2024 she came to the occupied Yalta to attend the funeral of her mother and was apprehended by the FSB officers. A criminal case under the Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the RF (“state treason”) was initiated against her, Liudmyla was charged of the financial support to Ukraine equaling to EUR 25 through purchase of the digital postmarks “russian warship”. Liudmyla was held in the SIZO no.2.
As the Crimean Human Rights Group informed, there’re at least 20 females from Crimea and the regions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya detained on the territory of Crimea and the RF.
