Two Berdiansk residents accused by the occupiers of so called attempt on the life of Aleksandr Saulenko, the occupation city “mayor”, were convoyed to the Russian city of Rostov-na-Donu.
As reported by the CHRG, Vitaliy Rastorhuyev and Volodymyr Kryvtsun were brought to Rostov on September 4, and they are held now in Pre-trial Detention Center No.1.
As reported by the CHRG, Vitaliy Rastorhuyev was detained by the occupation authorities in the city of Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia region, on July 13, 2022, at about 02:00 – 03:00pm. He was detained together with his friend Volodymyr Kryvtsun because they were said to have planted an explosive device in the car of Berdiansk occupation administration official. The same day at about 04:00pm, the armed men came to Mr.Rastorhuyev’s home and began to search it.
The Ukrainians were kept for some time in the building of the city police station.
The CHRG has found out that in June, 2023, Vitaliy and Volodymyr were transported to Simferopol and kept in Pre-trial Detention Center No.2. The occupation “investigation” bodies have accused them of attempting on the life of Aleksandr Saulenko, the occupation “mayor” of Berdiansk. The men are charged under RF CC Article 30-3, 361-1.
When Mr.Rastorhuyev had been moved to Simferopol, “Kievskiy District Court of City of Simferopol” ruled on keeping him in custody. It is worth noting that the “court” ruling says that V.Rastrohuyev was detained on December 29, 2022, though in fact he had been abducted in July 2022.
