Mr.Oleksandr Zarivnyy, Head of Department for Humanitarian Policy of Kherson District State Administration, and Chairman of Anti-Terrorist Operation Veteran Association CSO, abducted in Kherson Region, was kept in the mental hospital for a full-time forensic psychiatric assessment.
As reported by the CHRG, afterwards Anton Tsykurenko, a “judge” of “Kievskiy District Court of Simferopol”, extended a detention period for Mr.Zarivnyy first for two months, and then for three months. Mr.Zarivnyy is to be kept in the pre-trial detention center until end of May, 2023.
As reported by the CHRG, “occupation judge” Anton Tzykurenko was involved in illegitimate court persecutions of political prisoners: Oleh Pryhod’ko, Vladyslav Yesypenko, Asan and Aziz Akhmetovs, and others.
To remind: Oleksandr Zarivnyy was abducted on March 17, 2022. On that day the Russians broke into the family’s house in Oleshky, threatened his wife and his daughter with weapons, and soon took him away in handcuffs in an unknown direction.
Oleksandr, the captive’s son, told SUSPIL’NE TV, that the father had been kept in Kherson Police Detention Center seized by the Russian military for 4 months, and then he was moved to Simferopol. There Mr.Zarivnyy has been held in the Simferopol Pre-trial Detention Center no 2: he has been accused of espionage (RF CC Article 276, 10 to 20 years in custody).
